Hi all,
I have just received this question from a cousin and wasn't sure of the
answer. Hopefully someone in the list can enlighten us.

What exactly does the fraction refer to and also the years.
Is is acreage and the years they were there or ?????

He thinks he got this from someone in Lochgilphead county office when
he was there but now doesn't understand what he wrote....

MacTavish, Donald, 1/4 Dunadd, 1816/17, 1/8 Dunadd, 1818/19,
1819/20
MacTavish, Lachlan, Dunadd, cottar, 1816/17
MacTavish, Mary, Dunadd, cottar, 1816/17
MacTavish, Roger, 1/4 Dunadd, 1808/09, 1809/10, 1811/12

MacTavish, Donald, 1/4 Killinochanich, 1816/17, 1818/19, 1819/20

MacTavish, Duncan, Crinan, cottar, 1816/17, 1818/19, 1819/20
MacTavish, John, Crinan, cottar, [same years as Duncan]
MacTavish, Mary, Crinan, 1808/09, 1809/10

MacTavish, Duncan, Slockavullin, crofter, 1808/09, 1809/10, 1811/12,
1814/15, 1816/17, 1818/19, 1819/20

Any help certainly appreciated
