The estates in Kilmichael Glassary, which until 1830 included Lochgilphead,
were not (the Duke of) Argyll's.

I'd better own up to having a copy of Eric R Cregeen's 'Inhabitants of the
Argyll Estate, 1779' and also the 1792 Census for (the Duke of) Argyll's
Estates in Kintyre.
