Stewart I have been pursuing a Campbell family in Southend (around Machremore Mill in the early 1800's) although they may originate from Campbeltown. I know it is a long shot with the numbers of Campbells in these parts, but have you come across a Marion Campbell who married a Colin McPhail in 1826 in Southend? They had children with the names: Flora, Donald, Mary, Duncan, Margaret, John and Alexander, although since Alexr was the 8th child, there is one that remains undiscovered! I have never found Marion, nor Colin's parents........ TIA edward paxton Surrey
