Subject: Emigration within the United Kingdom

A new page has been added to the Tiree Genealogy website at
www.keithdash.net. Titled "Born-in-Tiree" it lists information
extracted from censuses or other official records on people born in
Tiree who emigrated to other regions of the United Kingdom. At
present the page includes just two lists, but it is hoped that more
will be added over time. Volunteers with access to census records
are welcome! The present lists are:
1. Tiree-born people found in Isle of Mull records - a list
generously provided by Mull Genealogy.
2. People born in Tiree and residing elsewhere in Scotland at the
time of the 1881 census (information includes name, age, marital
status, occupation and dwelling place).
