I don't know yet if my family is connected. If your tree, as it stands is correct, then we are not. I would like to draw your attention to the Port Gordon web site at

where the James Coull you mentioned baptised in 1826, is according to that site baptised in 1824, with different parents. The James Coull and the parents on the site lead back to our direct line ancestors Peter Reid born 20 Sep 1742 and his wife Jean (or Jane Geddes). If your tree has gone wrong there, then we are distantly related to your friend. If not, enjoy the information available on that web site
