hi , not sure if your any closer to finding your mcgregors , do you know if the kirkmichael was ? in perthshire or banffshire ?. i have just found my grt grt grt grt grandads house & liveing with or close to the frasers , the place was called( ballintomb ) a smallholding or farm , just out side tomintoul, as there was a kirkmichael not very far from tomintoul say 10 miles ? if you can get the 1841 census you can see for youeself < if i can be of help plz let me know , john macgregor plymouth .uk
