I have just started doing research for my godmother who comes from Eyemouth originally. Based on the info. she gave me and what I could find I was lead back to the following;

Most of the info I got off the registers on Scots origin. and then the latter I found at the LDS site with the submitter being Jerry Thomas Steele in California.
