Once upon a time Berwick-upon-tweed was Scottish until the English stole it,
after some carry on in the dark ages or middle ages, who cares its English
now and corrupted beyond repair. The small smidgen of land north of the
tweed that which is English is sometimes referred to as still being
Scottish, but I don't know by how many locals.
Berwickshire now shortened is a part of Scotland and no part of it is in
England, North Berwick is certainly in Scotland, in fact its in East
Lothian. Berwick upon Tweed is in the county of Northumberland. Confused if
only people lived in peace back then and behaved themselves, you wouldn't be
in such a mess. But then again I think Northumbria may have reached up to
the mouth of the Forth at one time.

Regards
