Hello Listers

Thank you to all those who answered my query about Strathnaven. I think I
will go with Strathnaver even though it definitely looks like Strathnaven
in the poem. The writer (Robert Laing GILLESPIE) however was born in
Caithness and christened in Cannisbay and his brother, my g grandfather
(James GILLESPIE), lived in Glengolly prior to his marriage and emigration
to New Zealand. This is why I thought it might be in the Caithness area and
why I asked on this list.
