William Skirving, wife Christina ( maiden name SIMPSON ) , & family.
Was he Charles Martin, or Davidson, illegitimate son of Janet DAVIDSON, &
born
8 Feb., 1859, Broomrig ?
If this is the same man, he was a nephew of Christina.
Does Charles , as Martin, Davidson, or Simpson, show in your Tree ?
I wondered if a mistake had been made in the census, as the 2 children of
William & Christina Skirving, were born Crighton, & Charles was the next
name, but, as a Boarder, age 25 yrs unmarried.
