Good afternoon Vivian
or
"To whom it may concern " !!!!!!!!
In 1871
GEORGE KERRIDGE was butler to Andreis B Duncan , retired army Colonel , of
Foxhall Estate , Kirkliston , West Lothian ( now part of a garden centre ,
I believe)
With him were
Jane Kerridge 31
Annie J Kerridge 7
Emma A Kerridge 4
Alice M Kerridge 2
Louise Kerridge 1 month
His "being in service " could explain why he was in Bavaria when Annie was
born .
Not sure if he was with Colonel Duncan in Bavaria as have no proof he served
in that coutnry .
Col Duncan bought the Foxhall estate from the Wishart Family in the early
1860's
Did some research on the Colonel , a while back , and had the above in my
notes
Trust this is of some help and interest
Regards
John
