Hi,

Also to help get this list going. I am researching the (many!) branches
of a DAWSON tree, the main line of which I have gat as far as:

William DAWSON (b 1701 Kippendavie) and Elizabeth MALTMAN
had Agnes DAWSON, James DAWSON, William DAWSON, Patrick DAWSON, Adam
DAWSON, Frances DAWSON, John DAWSON (b 1796), Alexander DAWSON, Margaret
DAWSON, James DAWSON

John DAWSON (b December 9, 1796) married Euphemia Wilson GILLON (b March
17, 1823)
and had Adam DAWSON (b 1842), Frances McKell DAWSON, Jane Douglas DAWSON
and John Gillon DAWSON.

Adam DAWSON (b June 4 1842 in Leith) married Hellen KELLIE (b 1844 in
Australia)
and had John K DAWSON, Alexander Bashall DAWSON, Percy Furneaux DAWSON and
Louie DAWSON

Alexander Bashall DAWSON (b 1869 in Leith) married first Aileen Twentyman
SMITHERS (b in Buenos Aires, Argentina) and had Donald Anthony Twentyman
DAWSON, Ellena Kellie Anita DAWSON, Helen Frances Inez DAWSON and Adam
Alexander DAWSON.

Alexander Bashall DAWSON lived at 15 Inverleith Terrace, Edinburgh in
1881. I would be interested to know where in Edinburgh this is.

Alexander Bashall Dawson later married 'Bimmy' MCALMONT

Other names on the tree include ANDERSON, MITCHELL, RAMAGE, HERBERTSON,
PARK and MCKELL. Most of which were in and around Edinburgh. I am also
looking for information on a Wyville THOMSON who married a Jane DAWSON in
the first half of the 1800s.

I would be interested in any connections.
