RARE Book "The Story of Hawick; An Introduction to the History of the
Town" by W. S. Robson, 1937. Heavy softback, 112 pages, 7.5" x 5",
illustrated, appendix, bibliography, Coats of Arms, in VERY GOOD to GOOD
Condition for this oldy! Town history of Hawick in Scotland which is
southeast by south of Edinburgh. VERY
early town history, as early as 651 AD and some before, mostly
1500-1800's! Barons, castles, Lords/Dukes, Ancient wars, old towers,
medieval time weapons, Burgesses, provosts; Names, dates, places and
history! Really a FASCINATING RARE book, especially if you have a
connection genealogically to this area!!!

My guess is Hawick is in the County of Roxburghshire in Scotland...
