The most recent Rarity member that I am aware of was born over 100 years
ago, so I'm afraid that I cannot help. You really need to work backwards
from what is known. You should get your grandparents' birth certificates
etc and see where that leads you. If you get back to the mid 1800s, especially
in Midlothian, I'm sure that I would be able to help you. Email me privately
if you need further advice on where to start.
