Hello Listers near Edinburgh,

I am hoping for some assistance from a generous lister who might be
visiting the the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh in the near
future.

I seek the transcription of a short paragraph from the Caledonian
Mercury 17 March 1838, on page 3, column e [NLS Shelfmark: NJ 292-]
concerning the trial of a Margaret ROBERTSON (my GGGgrandmother) and
Catherine COOK for theft and aggravated assault. The NLS provided the
above reference but would charge about £10 to photocopy and post to
Australia - even they suggested I seek an alternative means to obtain
the information.

I hope that with the exact date and page number, the above will not take
long to locate. Any assistance with Australian research will be gladly
given in return.
