Hi Catherine

While my McArthur ancestors were indeed in Edinburgh in 1906 I rather
suspect your photograph is not my McArthurs as the date puts it between
generations. However it would be interesting to have a copy as I am still
working on all Edinburgh McArthurs in the period. If someone else claims
the photograph I would like to be in touch with him/her.

I already have family photos for the period- McArthur family 1896 with
children, 1910 - grown-up and 1914 just before the war: 1916 my great
grandmother had a heart attack as a result of the zeppelin raid in which my
mother then age 2 was showered with glass at her home in Nicolson Square.
The youngest son died on the Somme in 1916.
