New to the list........

Have today received a marriage certificate for my GGUncle the Rev George
Davies who married for the second time in November 1885 at 19 Archibald
Place, Edinburgh.

His bride was Elizabeth Isabella Cassells.

The marriage was performed by a William Adamson DD after banns according to"
the terms of the E U Church."

George was a practising Baptist Minister until his death in 1933 aged 95.

What is or was the E U church?

Any help much appreciated
