If you are trying to trace current addresses you should try www.192.com
which will help, although you will have to pay for it. Another site is
Friends reunited, although I don't know the specific address. I tried
looking in the 2001 edition of 192, however I came up with only 2 Alex
Bankier's in or around Glasgow / Edinburgh & no Chris Bankier.

I am trying to locate a Bankier family that moved to Scotland just a bit
under 3 years ago. I believe they moved to Edinburgh or just outside of it.
The names are Alex and Chris (Clark) Bankier. They had 4 sons. We used to
live in the same neighbourhood in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada.
This is also a genealogy search as I have just found a Bankier in the
family tree as well. Maybe a connection. Please let me know if anyone can
help and feel free to give this email address to them or a connection if
you like.
