I'm new to this list and hope SKS can help me, and if this is not the
correct list, please let me know. I'm looking for info on William Christie,
b. 1803-04, died some time between the 1851 and 1861 census. I cannot find
where he was born, but he was married and lived in Aberdeen as a seaman, and
is listed in the census (and Kirk records, etc.) until 1861.

There is a death listing (Edinburgh) for a William Christie who died in
Leith South in 1860 (Registrar entry #72, 692/2).

I wouldn't have thought much of this except I found his wife Isabella (nee
Stott) as having died in 1873 in Leith North. She was born and lived in
Aberdeen as well, as did all their children, grandchildren, etc. (Registrar
entry #194, 692/1).

Would anyone have any information on these two people? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
