Hello Jane
Creenhui? "Bruntsfield Links", was given as the address of my
g.g.grandmother, Margaret, d. of Alexander Ramsay Esq., Manager of Edinburgh
Water Co., in the OP Record of her marriage on the 10th.Aug.1851, to Prof.
H.G.Ollendorff, teacher of languages, residing at 28 Kelston St., St.
Mary's. Could you, or any subscriber tell me what type of dwellings these
addresses are (were), also if there are any Water Co. records, and where the
Prof. may have been teaching in the area at this time? Would there be any
"Directory" information available for this time?
