Hello Listers,
I have just joined this list and thought I would share my interests.
James TOLMIE b abt 1819 Edinburgh (maybe Lasswade) married Elizabeth BROWN b
1821 Currie
Children Isabella b 15 Feb 1843 South Leith
Eliza chr 5 Mar 1843 South Leith
Margaret b abt 1850 Edinburgh?
James and Elizabeth married 29 Mar 1842 St Cuthbert's.
The Brown family lived at 96/100 Pleasance from about 1842 to 1853
I know a little about the BROWN family but the TOLMIE family is a mystery.
Would any one have the 1851 census of South Lieth and be willing to do a
lookup for this TOLMIE family.
Hoping someone might also have an interest in either of these families.
