Hi,
I am researching the following:
John Fleming, b. abt. 1746 who married Elizabeth Reid and had a son John
Fleming b. December 5 1776. The second John was a Doctor and a Professor of
Medicine at Edinburgh School of Medicine. He married Melville Christie (b. August
13, 1795) on March 15, 1813. They had two children:
Alexander Fleming, b July 3, 1819
Andrew Fleming, b March 7, 1822, d March 25, 1901. Andrew was a Deputy
Surgeon General (HM Indian Army).
Andrew married Catherine Loftus Garner (b. 1832, d Oct 4 1916) on June 10,
1856 in Segowlie, Bengal, India. They had children:
Charlie C. Fleming, b 1858
Mary A. Fleming, b Oct 29, 1859, m. Mr. Craigie, daughter Ethel, b. abt 1884
Cathatine Annie Fleming, b Oct 16, 1861, m. John Carlyle Johnstone, son
Frederick & daughter Katharine.
Jack Fleming, b 1862, m Beatrix Kipling (sister to Rudyard Kipling).
Melville (Moona) Fleming, b April 30, 1864
Harry Fleming, b 1866
