Wondering if I might have misled folks with my earlier post about Edwin Henry
BUTLER born 1868, Leicester.

I found his parents living in Leicester (Head of Household listed as Ed Henry
BUTLER, born 1831, Leicester) - but young Edwin is not with them.

Have searched the English 1881 for all sorts of variations and spellings and
drawn a blank so far - the scottish connection is a long shot.....

Here's hoping!!
