Good Morning Edinburgh,

I am researching a MacKenzie connection in my family, but with little luck. Hopefully someone on this list can be of help.

Margaret Kenneth MACKENZIE was born in Edinburgh in 1884 and was the daughter of John Murdoch MACKENZIE and Isabell Unknown.
Later, she apparently had a sweet shop in London - this before she came to South Africa where she married Waite Farlam GATE, who was born in London, also 1884.
Margaret died in South Africa in 1952

I am overwhelmed by the Mackenzies on the Family History Site. I have also not been able to access the scotlandspeople website, as I don't seem to be able to get beyond the "click here to view this page" which opens a second page, but with no access to the BMD's or any other searchable index. Is there perhaps a problem with this site at present?
