Goodness me - what a gift! The names of BOTH parents outright in the
children! There really isn't much room for doubt there; would that more of
our ancestors were so thoughtful! And I can't believe you won't find some
more family members in among those names. With such distinctive names too,
tracing the life events of the children should be relatively easy.

Best wishes,
Sheena Ireland

Hello
I am looking for info about my gr-grandparents; David CHALMERS and
Jessie WATSON. David and Jessie were married about 1855-6.
David was born in Liff, Forfar, I believe these are his parents: John
Murray
CHALMERS

Agnes Orquhart McKenzie.
I yet to confirm that they are his parents. But, given the name of one of
his daughters I believe that they are.

Jessie Watson born in 1837 in Monkland, Lanark.
They lived @ 5 Blackwood Crest Census Place St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh,
Scotland.
CHILDREN:
1) John Murray Chalmers Br: 16 August, 1857
Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh
2) David McKenize Chalmers BR: 08 May 1859
Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh
3) Aganes Orquhard McKenize Chalmers BR: 26 Mar 1861
Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh
4) Margaret Watson Chalmers BR: 30 Nov. 1862
Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh
5) Catherine Steveson Chalmers BR: 18 Nov, 1864
Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh
6) Hannah Grace Elder Chalmers BR: 25 Jan.1867
Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh
7) Chalmers male BR: 17 Nov, 1868
Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh
8) Henry Isaac Williams Chalmers BR: 15 Jan, 1870
Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh
9) Jessie Watson Chalmers BR: 23 March 1873

I have very little information about them and any leads will be a great
help.

Thank-you for your time.
