G'day ,

Is there anyone out there who really loves transcribing early
testaments? :-)

I have one for Robert GRACIE from 1673 which looks just like the example
mentioned below from www.ScottishDocuments.com

>>>
From a testament of 1722. Some letters are recognisably Secretary Hand,
but the writing is not as neat as the previous example. Many letters are
cursive (either untidy versions of Secretary Hand, Italic, and other
writing styles, or forms of the writer's own invention). Other problems
include elaborate letters which interfere with other letters or make
several words look like one continuous word).
>>>

I could painstakingly set about matching letters etc. and this I will
probably have to do but if there IS someone who likes doing this I would
hate to deprive them of the pleasure ;-).

If there is a KS I will be pleased to forward the three JPGs.

If you don't ask etc.........

Cheers..

Mike.
