Hi, I am new to the list and I am researching the above names.

I have a John STOBO (born abt 1808 died 1862). At the time of his death he was living at 6 St James Square Edinburgh with his wife Jane (CROCKETT) and possibly children, John,Jane & Margaret. I know where the wife & children were born (? more children).

John Stobo was the son of John Stobo & Mary Robertson. Jane Crockett was the daughter of David Crockett & Margaret LENNOX.

I don't know anything more about these families, but would be most grateful if anyone can give me any advice or has any connection.
