The Edinburgh and Leith Post Office Directory for 1884-85 shows this
street to be in Registration District No 5 (Newington).
>1884 - Royal Park Terrace, Edinburgh
The same directory shows this to be in Registration District No 3
(Canongate).
Note that districts changed over time, and it's possible that the 1884-85
directory doesn't properly reflect the situation at the time of your
queries.
