Hello Pat,

Did the death cert have a reference in the margin to see the Register of
Corrections? You will need to look at this Register for further information.
This is kept at New Register House.
see scotlandspeople for more details. There should be a death certificate
for the son too, unless he left the country.

There may well be something in the newspaper. The Edinburgh Evening News the
following day or so. Edinburgh Central Library ( Edinburgh Room) has old
