Subject: burial location/Borthwick/for Bridget Harkins

I finally found (by using ScotlandsPeople.gov)the death record of Bridget
Harkins who died November 20, 1869, Fushiebridge, Parish of Borthwick, County
of Edinburgh.

She was the wife of Timothy Harkins, Quarryman. She was 55 years old, died of
disease of the heart and lungs, her parents were Charles McTernan, farmer, and
Bridget McTernan (maiden name also McTernan) both deceased.

Names of the Dr and registrar are included.

How do I find where she was buried?

Would cemetery records provide additional information? (ie. what country she was
born in, where her parents were born?)

I had trouble using ScotlandsPeople -- sometime the document would show on the
computer screen and other times it wouldn't. I tried to diligently follow all
directions.

I can't seem to find a death date for her husband who was born in Ireland. He
was at his oldest sons wedding in Edinburgh (Timothy Harkins, age 19, who
married Ann Gaughan), May 1871. He might perhaps be buried with his wife but
would I need an exact date of his death?

Any advice on what to do next? Thank you,
Maureen Harkins Cole
