I am trying to find information on James Ritchie whom was married to Isabella ( uncertain Hickey). Their son William was born 1819 Edinburgh came to Australia in 1841 as a single person. He gave his fathers occupation as an editor,
it has been passed down through the family as being connected to "The Scotsman", but I can not find information to prove this even though it was William Ritchie whom I believe started the paper.
