Subject: [SCT-EDINBURGH] Alexander Whitehead Family - 1855 Edinburgh

I am seeking information on and decendents of Alexander Whitehead and
Isabella Nisbet married May 9 1855 in Edinburgh. Alexander was born Jan
20 1833 to Robert Whitehead and Sarah Jackett and he died January 10
1890. Isabella was born July 23 1834 to John Nisbet and Isabella Nicol
and died January 31 1873.

Alexander and Isabella had the following children: Alexander ( Feb. 6
1857 Glasgow), Sarah (Dec. 28 1858 Edinburgh), James (Apr. 24 1861
Edinburgh), John (May 16 1863 Edinburgh), Robert (May 24 1865
Edinburgh), Isabella (Sept. 14 1867-Jan 8 1869 Edinburgh) and Isabella
(Dec. 5 1869 Edinburgh). On a couple of the birth registries, mother
Isabella is listed as Elizabeth.

Between the 1871 census and 1881 census the family had dispersed as
Sarah and Isabella are with their Uncle James Nisbet, Alexander (father)
is a lodger elsewhere and Alexander (son), James, John and Robert are
either deceased or eleswhere as I haven't been able to locate them on
the 1881 census.

Any help is appreciated and I would love to hear from anyone with
conenctions to these Whiteheads.
