Hello, I am new to your list
My great aunt Henrietta Sabina GRAY, bn 1890 Cambridge England, was in
service in Edinburgh early 1900's. We have a bible inscribed 'In memory of April
4th 1906 Confirmation, Charles J MACKUES, Rector of St James Edinburgh' and we
have a common prayer book inscribed 'with best wishes to Sabina on her
confirmation day from Katharine WATSON & Florrie (?) WATSON, April 4 1906.
She was engaged to a D(avid) CADDON who was scottish and died in WWI. We
have lots of postcards that he sent to her.
I am trying to flesh out the lives of my great Aunts & uncles and it would
be so interesting if anyone knows of this WATSON family or the CADDON
connection. Any suggestions gratefully received.
Regards, Carol Adams
