Subject: [SCT-EDINBURGH] Searching for Ancestors of David DOW

I am searching for ancestors of David DOW, who was born in Scotland. He
married a Margaret Bissett b 1802 probably in the mid to late 1830’s. His
first son James was born at Edinburgh 6 Feb 1839 .



He emigrated to South Australia on board the vessel ‘RAJASTHAN’ which
arrived on 6 Feb 1840



He was a miller by trade and is believed to have had brothers named
Alexander ( who had a daughter named Isabella born in 1840) , another one
named William DOW and another named David Lindsay DOW .



Would appreciate if anyone can help fill in some gaps and also trace
ancestors.
