Certainly think so!!!! The marriage was noted in Pittenweem and Kilrenny
parish. Not an uncommon practice in those times. While George and
Catherine/Katharine are not in my direct line, am fairly sure of my facts
about the realtionships in Cellardyke - the main fishing village in the
parish of Kilrenny.
Most of my data is from the Scottish Church Records which I find more
reliable that the IGI.
If you can give me any more information about the children of George Smith
and Catherine/Katharine Gay, I would be most obliged.
