Hi All, Posting my interest in HENDERSON families from Fife
First Generation
1. James HENDERSON was born about 1777 in Kettle Fife Scotland. James married Elizabeth BELL on 30 Dec 1807 in Canongate Edinburgh. Elizabeth was born about 1778. They had the following children:
2 M i. Alexander HENDERSON was born in Feb 1809 in North Leith
3 M ii. Robert HENDERSON was born on 24 Feb 1811 in St Andrews Fife.
4 M iii. James HENDERSON was born on 18 Apr 1813 in St Andrews Fife.
5 M iv. Robert HENDERSON was born on 12 Mar 1815 in St Andrews Fife.
6 M v. David HENDERSON was born on 04 May 1817 in St Andrews Fife.
7 F vi. Lilly HENDERSON was born on 28 Mar 1819 in St Andrews Fife.
+ 8 F vii. Isabella HENDERSON was born on 14 Jan 1822.
9 F viii. Elizabeth Bell HENDERSON was born on 31 Aug 1827 in Fife.
Second Generation
8. Isabella HENDERSON (James) was born on 14 Jan 1822 in St Andrews Fife.
Isabella married Hugh MACPHERSON son of Alexander MACPHERSON and Christian RUSSELL on 09 Jun 1850 in Bothkennar Stirling Scotland. Hugh was born on 23 Jun 1828 in Polmont Stirling Scotland.
They had the following children:
10 M i. James MCPHERSON was born on 18 Jan 1857 in Larbert Stirling.
+ 11 F ii. Christina MACPHERSON was born on 11 Nov 1859.
12 M iii. Daniel MCPHERSON was born on 27 May 1862 in Larbert Stirling
13 M iv. John MCPHERSON was born on 12 Jul 1865 in Larbert Stirling
14 M v. William Henderson MCPHERSON was born on 03 May 1869 in Falkirk
15 M vi. Peter MCPHERSON was born on 03 May 1872 in Falkirk Stirling.
Third Generation
11. Christina MACPHERSON (Isabella HENDERSON, James) was born on 11 Nov 1859 in Larbert Stirling.Christina married James WARDROP son of Robert WARDROP and Mary LEITCH on 16 Dec 1880 in Free Church Of Scotland Manse Falkirk Stirling Scotland. James was born about 1848 in Falkirk Stirling Scotland. They had the following children:
16 M i. Andrew Ferris MACPHERSON was born on 28 Jun 1875 in Falkirk
+ 17 F ii. Isabella WARDROP was born on 12 Oct 1883. She died on 06 Aug 1969.
18 F iii. Janet WARDROP was born UNKNOWN.
+ 19 M iv. James WARDROP was born UNKNOWN.
Fourth Generation
17. Isabella WARDROP (Christina MACPHERSON, Isabella HENDERSON, James) was born on 12 Oct 1883 in 35 Fieldsend Pencuik Edinburgh Scotland. She died on 06 Aug 1969 in Wellington Hospital. Isabella married Alexander PATERSON son of Alexander PATERSON and Isabella CUMMING on 20 Jul 1903 in United Free Church Lochare Fife Scotland. Alexander was born on 05 Oct 1881 in Ross Lane Dunfermline Fife Scotland. He died on 07 Aug 1932 in Buller Hospital Westport New Zealand.They had the following children:
+ 20 F i. Isabella Cumming PATERSON was born on 05 Mar 1905.
+ 21 M ii. Alexander PATERSON was born on 14 Aug 1909. He died on 18 Oct 1960.
+ 22 M iii. James Wardrope PATERSON was born on 17 Apr 1915. He died on 25 Aug 1993.
+ 23 M iv. Hugh Cumming PATERSON was born on 17 Jul 1922. He died on 07 Apr 1992. (MY FATHER)
19. James WARDROP (Christina MACPHERSON, Isabella HENDERSON, James) was born UNKNOWN. James married Helen DOUGAN on 16 Dec 1913 in Tarbrox Carnwath. Helen was born UNKNOWN. They had the following children:
+ 24 M i. James WARDROP was born on 19 Oct 1922. He died on 15 May 2001.
