Thanks for the information Joyce. I am not sure of the Kettle connection
but there could be a link. The few of my line that I have been able to trace
have been from Angus and Fife.

Are you related to the PRATT families of Kettle Pam? William PRATT who was
married to Helen SCOTT was born in Kettle in 1814.
