I see that there has been some discussion about old photos of Burntisland. There is a book which may be of interest - 'Old Burntisland', written by Rhona Wilson and published by Stenlake, which contains 48 pages of photos and text about the town. There are several shots of streets and shops in the town.

The book is available from Fife Family History Society (of which I am Publications Coordinator) at a price of £9.00 (UK) or £10.00 (overseas), including postage. Further details and information on how to place an order can be found on our website - www.fifefhs.org (under Publications For Sale).

Also in connection with Burntisland, we have two books on Burntisland's war dead, one dealing with WW1, the other with WW2. These each cost £3.75 (UK) or £4.50 (overseas).
