Hi Everyone,
I'm here in Melbourne, Australia and hoping that SKS up there in Scotland
can help me.
I don't even know if I am on the right List!
I am looking for a record of a Clyde River Pilot by the name of Andrew
THOMSON of THOMPSON. He would probably have been there around the
1860s-1870s. I am afraid I have absolutely nothing else to go on, except
that he was in South Australia by 1879. The information that he was a
river pilot comes as hearsay from a now deceased family member, so may not
even be true. If anyone has access to these records (if they even exist),
I would be very grateful if they could have a look for me.
