Hi Everyone
Had some good finds at the Mitchell Library, in the OPR's and on the poor
index, found one of my ancestors, two of my husbands, that came from
Edinburgh. The staff were very helpful & friendly. I was given this website
Virtual Mitchell, great pictures www.mitchelllibrary.org/vm great pictures,
there are 58 in the Gallowgate collection, no 50 is of soldiers, I think
someone on the list was asking about the barracks there. Eileen
