Hello,

James BARR was born abt 1803 in Glasgow and married Catherine MCKINLAY b Paisley 1807. Their marriage was 25 April 1834 in Globals. James was a Foundry Labourer
Their children were Archibald b 1835, Daniel b 1837, James b 1840, Margaret b 1842, Peter b 1843, Catherine b 1845 and William b 1847 all christened in Globals. I have the details for the 1851 Census but James the father must have died some time there after. He was missing from the 1861 Census in which I understand the family were in Tradeston where Catherine was recorded with her son James and the girls Margaret and Catherine.

I am looking for other researches who may connect to this BARR family line.
