Archibald WATSON, born 1872 Glasgow, married Mary LENNOX, born 1871 Dailly
Ayrshire, on 16th June 1893 in Dailly.

Their first child Jane(Jeannie) WATSON was born in Dailly and I believe
married William SINCLAIR in Partick in 1913

The rest of the children appear to have been born in Govan:

Jessie Fulton WATSON - July 1895 in Govan
Archibald WATSON - August 1897
Mary Irvine WATSON - October 1899, died 1907 in street accident
Maggie WATSON - May 1901
Catherine(Katie) WATSON - May 1903

It is believed there were at least three other children - Alec, Lena and
Lizzie - and could have been even more.

It is believed that Maggie WATSON married William MITCHELL in 1926 in
Glasgow and probably had children called Mamie, Thomas, Arthur and Margaret among
others.

Archibald WATSON married Hilda HOPPER in Yorkshire after WW1. This
Archibald is my grandfather.


Does anyone have any further knowledge about the children of Archibald
WATSON and Mary LENNOX? Archibald died in 1945 and May died in 1938

I have a lot of information prior to their move to Govan.

this family.
