Ah - a different Robert Alexander I'm afraid. The parents of the one
who married my relative were George Alexander and Isabella Beveridge
(from the marriage record). No idea about the cause of the divorce :)
- there are no family stories about it that have reached me, and
indeed it's only from the marriage record that I know of it!

I'd have thought it quite likely that they both worked in Parkhead
Forge - but Cathcart seems a bit away! They did, though, end up in
Finlay Drive in Dennistoun.
