I’m seeking family history on the MCPHAILE family(ies) of Ardersier/Petty parishes. I have two female ancestors that are connected to my MCKILLICAN family line:

#1 - Margaret MCPHAILE (daughter of John MCPHAILE from Urlisail or Urliseith (unidentified) in Petty parish) contracted to marry on 7 March 1719 to William MCKILICANE (born about 1700 in Ardersier parish).

#2 - Marjorie MCPHAILE was married to James GRANT and they were probably from Carse of Ardersier. They had a daughter Christy (short for Christian or Christina) who was born 4 June 1785.
