I have a copy of "The Day Book of Daniel Campbell of Shawfield, 1767"
edited by Freda Ramsay. This book has records of property owned by the
Campbell family on Islay for the years 1733 to 1798.

There is information on rent rolls, surveys, leases, land improvements,
etc. If you family was living on Islay between 1733 and 1798, I'd be glad
to look and see if they are mentioned.
