I am interested in a lookup from "The Day Book of Daniel Campbell of
Shawfield, 1767" edited by Freda Ramsey.

My GGG Grandmother was Ann Campbell who married John Johnston (of Tallant and
Laguvalin). John Johnston was born about 1787, died 1836. Their children
were Donald (or Dugald?) Johnston, christened 13 Dec. 1805 (my direct
ancestor, who established the Laphroaig Distillery); Ronald Johnston; Janet
Johnston; Mary Johnston; and John Johnston.

I am interested in any information on Ann Campbell's parents, or anything on
the Johnston family. Since Ann was only a child at the end of the period you
state this book covers (1733-1798) there probably isn't anything on her, but
it is worth a try.
