I have "inherited" a photocopy of an extract from an OLD PAROCHIAL REGISTER
with the marriage of my GrGrGrGrGrandparents (Donald McALLISTER and Sarah

April 14, 1828 - Murdoch McCRAIN and Margaret McCRAIN, both in this Parish
were duly proclaimed once and married.

proclaimed & married.
Oct 7, 1828 - Angus CAMPBELL and Mary MacDONALD, in the Parish of Jura & in
the Parish of Bowmore were duly proclaimed twice & married.
Dec 23, 1828 - John SHAW and Ann DARROCH, both in this Parish were duly
proclaimed twice & married.
Dec 30, 1828 - Donald McALLISTER and Sarah BUIE, in the Parish of Bowmore &
Parish of Jura, were duly proclaimed twice & married.
Jany(?) 18, 1829 - Malcolm McNEILL and Sarah BLACK, both in this parish were
duly proclaimed once & married.
Jany(?) 24, 1829 - Alex DARROCH and Sarah McARTHUR, both in this parish were
duly proclaimed once & married.

The above particulars are extracted from a Register of Proclamations of

Hope they are of some help to someone!
