Hello, Hugh!
I don't know anything about the Orr family, but I found some of them in the Book of Islay People. Statistics of the Parish of Kildalton, 1843, shows Neil and Alexander at Lower
Leorin, and Duncan and John at Torra.
In the Killarrow and Kilmeny Parish lists, there are Donald, farmer member from 1843 to 1848, when he died; and Alex, farmer, 1843 to 1862 when he died.
There was a Fetty Orr, married to John McEwen, tenant on Laorin. He died in 1854 at 77 years.
John, of Laguvulin
