Thanks Brian.
Obviously this is a very sensitive local issue and not one that
"outsiders" would want to get involved in. There was no inference made
in the report that local fishermen were killing seals, only that there
had been an organized and sanctioned reduction in the herd in 1981 and
that there were calls for another to be carried out.
