Hi Steve,

Sorry, I would have included the URL this morning but couldn't put my
cursor on it. The official site for Project Gutenberg is at:

http://promo.net/cgi-promo/pg/cat.cgi

The texts are available from many sites around the world so after you
choose to search by author select a location near you from the
dropdown menu, select G for Galt from the alpha list to go to that
page, then scroll down until you find John Galt. He has three titles
listed including Annals of the Parish. The files will download to
your hard drive in zip format which you can open with Winzip or
Stuffit or whatever archive extraction program you happen to have.
The extracted files will be in text format so you will need to open
them with a word processor or your Internet browser.

An alternate method is to go to the ubiquitous About.com at this URL:
http://history1700s.about.com/homework/history1700s/library/mresource/metexts/history/blannals.htm

The text is available there for reading on-line (and you get free ads).

Take care,
Daryl
